We are pleased to inform our members and supporters that Church and Society will be hosting a seminar forum entitled Peace on the Korean Peninsula.

The Forum will be held November 13-15, 2017 in the United Methodist Building in Washington D.C. on Capitol Hill.

“Headlines of unrest on the Korean peninsula have taken over the front page of our papers. Breaking news banners flash across our TV screens,” the invitation reads. “We hear: Nuclear missiles, intercontinental ballistic missiles, terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD). It all seems recent. But the unrest, division and absence of peace has been the reality on the peninsula for decades.

Participants will hear from experts on nuclear security, foreign policy and faithful advocacy among other topics… There will also be time for networking with other advocates.”
