The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa has released a new report entitled “Economic Report on Africa 2017: Urbanization and Industrialization for Africa’s Transformation.”
According to the 2017 report on Africa, half of Africa’s population will live in urban areas by 2035. The rapid urbanization presents high demands for jobs, services and infrastructure, while creating enormous opportunities for Africa’s economic growth.
