On the occasion of the Global Week of Action Against Gun violence DI Defender Mr. Adham Tobail held important seminars and meetings in Gaza Strip, in close collaboration with other civil society organisations.
The “Global Week of Action Against Gun Violence” was celebrated around the world, including Iraq, Ramallah, Norway, Denmark, Morocco and Tunisia. A record 81 countries took part in this year’s Week of Action which received national media coverage. DI news were published on websites including Al-Quds, Al-Hayat, Al-Ayam, Modern Discussion, Sotkurdistan, Open-dialog, Alnoor, Kaniya-spi, Sotaliraq, Leila magazine, Gemyakurda, Iraqsunnews, Efrin, Gilgamish.
Defend International In Gaza
Many important meetings and seminars were held in Gaza Strip on the occasion of the Week of Action. Defend International organised a series of workshops, symposiums, awareness campaigns against arms proliferation. These activities were conceptualized and organised in close collaboration with other civil society organisations.
